A hamlet of 3 cottages and a ruin in a secluded valley, with land bordering the Ribeira de Alge.
Cottage A - Casa do Zé da Lomba, and Cottage B - Casa do João da Lomba, are structurally restored.
Cottage C - Casa da Tia Josefina is a traditional mountain cottage in its original state.
Casa do Zé da Lomba has a cellar formed from the natural rock, and stone. There is space for a stair to be installed from the cellar to ground floor.
There is a covered veranda with a bread oven, a xisto stone floor and chestnut beams supporting the roof.
The ground floor has a wooden roof. The accommodation comprises a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, and a living –room with a French door to the veranda. The windows are double-glazed.
There is a brick annex to the side of the cottage.
Casa do João da Lomba  has accommodation on 2 floors.
The ground floor has a kitchen with a wood ceiling and tiled floor, a bathroom with shower, and a veranda with a xisto stone floor.
The 1st floor has a bread oven outside, 2 verandas, a bedroom with 2 windows and 2 doors leading outside– one to the terrace and one to the bread oven, a bathroom with a shower, a bedroom with a wardrobe and 2 windows, and another room, the rooms having wood floors and ceilings.
There is an internal connecting stair and also an external staircase.
Casa da Tia Josefina has a cellar, 2 bedrooms, a living-room, a dining-room, and a kitchen. At the rear of the house is a storage area with a ladder to the attic, and a bread oven.
Car access to the hamlet is by dirt track.
Provision has been made for electricity distribution that would need to be supplied by photo-voltaic cells and wind-power.
There is a spring on the land supplying water, and a well for irrigation.
The land below the houses runs steeply down to river, and there is an old track leading down that needs to be recovered.
There is a small stone ruin on the land.
