Description of property:
A newly-built single storey property situated in an elevated location, giving spectacular views over the surrounding countryside.
The lower part of the exterior walls of the house are clad in xisto , the covered veranda and columns are flagged in xisto, and the terrace around the house is cobbled in Portuguese stone. The garden has yet to be landscaped, but there is a large cobbled patio area constructed to the rear of the house, that affords breath-taking views. A large solar panel has been erected in the garden to harvest solar energy for use by the house.
The windows, doors and shutters of the house are made of aluminium in the style of wood.
On entering the house there is a hall with a tiled floor and partially-tiled walls, and a wood ceiling. Off the hall is a tiled bathroom with bath, and a bedroom with a laminated wood floor, built-in cupboard, and sliding doors to the outside. The living-room is joined to the kitchen in an L-shape: the living-room having a xisto fireplace and a wood ceiling, the tiled floor extending into the kitchen, that also has tiled walls. In the kitchen there is a traditional wooden table, granite worktop, double sink, oven and hob, and fitted cupboards. Sliding doors open from the living-room giving access to the veranda. Next to the living-room there is another bedroom with a laminated wood floor, bed, cupboard and chest of drawers in wood, and sliding doors to the veranda, a spacious tiled bathroom with shower. Beside the kitchen there is another room with a water heater, boiler, refrigerator, and fittings for a washing machine.
The house has central heating throughout.
